Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, best famous for his role on the popular television show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. At the age of 18, he began to take an interest in acting. In the University of Colorado at Boulder it was where he studied acting. Although he's been in films and on television but it's the actors portrayed in small screen that has earned him fame. He can play both characters from the side of the police as well as the other. That's what is what makes him so famous. He portrayed the role of a serial murderer in his debut television show however he later chose to portray the character of an NYPD detective. The small screen performances of his are rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. It is his trademark piercing, blue eyes which can be said to help him look handsome.
